Barrie van den Berg was born and bred in Cornwall but practiced in London for a number of years, Barrie returned to the Cornwall in 1990 to become a member of Godolphin 
Chambers in Truro, Cornwall where he was previously Head of chambers for 20 years.  Barrie joined Devon chambers in 2011.

Barrie is a grade 3 prosecutor, dealing with criminal cases ranging from murder onwards.
