Paul Bitmead practises in family and criminal law. He is head of Chambers’ Family Team. His experience in family law means that he has a particular expertise in criminal cases involving children. He has been instructed by the defence in all areas of criminal law, in particular sexual offences, drug offences and offences of violence. He has appeared as junior Counsel for the defence in a multi-handed murder trial.
He is an active member of Chambers’ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) team and has lectured local solicitors on the use of expert witnesses.
