Michelin-starred chef has successfully defeated a claim

Cornwall's first Michelin-starred chef, Kevin Viner, has successfully defeated a claim by his landlord for possession of Viners Bar and Restaurant in Newquay, and obtained an injunction preventing his landlord from further interfering with his quiet enjoyment of those premises.

Mr Viner, who argued that the landlord was estopped from seeking possession on grounds of alienation was represented by Russell James. Further details of this case were reported in the West Briton and are available here, and reporting the outcome, here.
